If I return with insurance free through my work?

who can I put on it? My kids and hubby I'd assume at least that is what is allowed at my BIL's work but I also own a step-daughter can I put her on it too or not since she is not my biological child. It would seem like a surplus of money for me to have free insurance and for him to have to clear for insurance for her separately through his work when she would be the only one on it. I haven't been hired but otherwise I would ask the company or insurance. It's a health care undertaking if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I asked this before contained by the insurance section and only get once response that told me it isn't free. It is free it's not taken out of my pay or I don't have a bill for it every month it is an incentive of the employment. You get free coverage after you work there for so lots months. It's at a hospital.

Also, if I was you, I wouldn't ask about the insurance coverage during the interview, or when you bring back the job, I wouldn't ask right away. Especially if you are on a probation period. Employers frown on absolute questions especially regarding insurance. For an employer insurance is immensely expensive to provide. They may base their decision on hiring you, on that quiz.

this question should be put to the place you hope to work at. all insurances are different. some places propose free insurance to their employees and you pay for premiums for your relations. Very few if any offer free insurance for the entire family. Except for the military. If your step daughter lives beside you then she would be considered your dependent and she would be treated as your bio child for insurance purposes.
Just ask Human resources for the insurance booklet of rules or policy. It is your right to have time to examine it and call the provider next to these questions if not in booklet.If no book available ask for key number to provider. When hired you will be given lots info so they usually have this packaged and arranged to go. Through Wal Mart my part exceptionally reasonable but addby the side of cost more. I think you may need get the child on tax to qualfie but they may enjoy different rule.
I don't know what kind of insurance you have, but my husband's who is the step-father to my two girls covers them. His is also free. We clear nothing for all of us. He purely added us all on after we got married. He have two older children on the plan prior to us. Once, they turned 21 or finished college, the ins dropped them. I have a grill for you: Is this ins free for single coverage, ie: the employee only, and afterwards pay for family coverage? FInd out for sure if your not 100% sure.
