How can I go and get free/cheap medical insurance, I'm 14?

I need to have medical insurace surrounded by order to partipate in a sport at my college, but I never had medical insurance and havent been to a doctor since I be 7. My parents said to just not take a sport so that they dont own to sign me up for any insurance company; which they say is expensive.

Is there a quick/easy/cheap insurance for me (14)?
Answers:
OK, YOU can't do it, but every school offer VOLUNTARY accident coverage. It costs about $125 A YEAR. So if you own no private health insurance, and no medicaid, that school plan would embezzle care of the problem.
Unfortunately medical insurance is expensive, and oodles families can't afford it.

If your parents fall into that category there's not a unharmed lot you can do other than try to convince them to get some coverage. I used to traffic with Blue Shield when I was without a job. Even so, that was about $40/mo. for markedly basic coverage. I don't know what their family plans are similar to but you could at least have your parents contact them to procure a quick quote.

your school should hold a sports insurance policy for families that cant afford regular insurance... check with your athletic director, and if they brush you rotten go to the principal. Source(s): I used school insurance contained by all four years of high university
If your parents meet confident income requirements, there are affordable programs in most states that cover children. You, as a child, cannot do anything. Your parents own to get the insurance.
get ur mom to file for adjectives kids or medicade for you ! at a health dept or DHR
because you are only 14, you can get on anything plan the state provides....like medicade....ect....just dance to your local clinic and tell them you want to sign up and they will help you.
obedient luck
If your parents can't afford medical insurance for you, most states own programs that will provide limited coverage for free or at reduced cost. Your parents will have to apply, and they will own to provide proof of their low income.

Talk to the school nurse or someone in your institution office about this. They would hold information about what you need to do.
