Insurance Question: eye exam benefits: Free or not?
I have an Anthem med plan that has an HRA (reimbursement account) Now, I am entitled to 1 free eye exam respectively year, BUT Every time I get an eye exam, they deduct the full amount of the cost of the exam (over $100) from my HRA., even beside a PCP referral. Is this right? I feel that I have be taken advantaged of. Regardless, can anyone give me warning how to minimize this ? Any info you have would be appreciated!!
