Is anyone concerned that a public prospect will smoothly nudge out free souk insurance by non-attendance?

Just as we have seen evolve in Canada?

Are pro public option family with good form care concerned one day they will not own that care that they currently have?
Answers:
That is the purpose. Democrats are trying to be slick, but it is obvious what they are trying to do. I would hold a lot more respect for democrats if they would just come out and read out it. Their ultimate goal is wide-ranging healthcare.
No, I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that a public leeway would nudge out the free market. It is meant to compete, and to drive down costs of private plans. If a few can't compete, they will fall through. But one of the reasons we are at this juncture is because the insurance companies have not done a dutiful job of delivering coverage to the public at an affordable price.

I also find it interesting that nation think the public option will ruin the insurance companies and organize to single payer, but at the same time they think the public resort won't work. If it's a better system than the private companies, then it will work, and the private companies deserve to die. Yes. I'm also concerned give or take a few granny not being able to gain the meds she requires, access to the health care system since she is no longer a "productive" extremity of society.

And I'm concerned about the ignorance of our youth that somehow think this is a "free" program when it is anything but. And they will be the one whose income will be more artificial than any one else.
The insurance industry doesn't want a real public option because it know it couldn't compete. We don't have a free market system within the U.S. We have a protectionist system that limits choice. The Obama authority and congress are trying desperately to save the private industry. Look at who writes legislation. More directly to your question, the private insurance industry should be dismantled. Profits own no place in health effort. To your second question, most people would close to to have high aspect health care instead of going in debt or being denied coverage, or not being competent to see a doctor at all. We need a single-payer system.
yes. i'm worried about that precise point.
Americans would be lucky to hold health care resembling Canada's. The WHO ranks Canada's health care 30th while the US's ranks 37th, and every single Canadian citizen have the same access to health safekeeping as the next. And why would it 'naturally? I thought the government could do nothing right? Has the public college system eliminated private schools? Has USPS nudge out the likes of FedEx? I think what we'll see is simply two distinct marketing groups emerging. The well-off and well to do will continue to buy their premium insurance plans and the middle and lower class will rely on the public prospect.
No, Not concerned, but simply know it will happen. That's liberals FULL intentions for this public option, that it bring out private insurers. The proof of this is below in the links. God bless.

No. The for profit medical business is an obscene aberration of capitalism. Health care is a right, not a privilege, contained by spite of the yammering of the GOP. The USA is the only developed industrialized nation that makes relations go bankrupt when treating an sickness or disease.
No, in a free souk if the public option does not perform private insurance should flourish.
well I didn't know that 45000 population die every year from not having insurance. I didn't know that not having insurance could execute you.
Socialism has a very strong hold on america. individuals are willing to give away their freedoms for somewhat temporary safety. ben franklin said they deserve neither autonomy of safety and I agree.
The public picking has to be offered by all employer or there will be a penalty to take-home pay. That penalty would be passed along to the employees. For this rationale employers will adopt the public option and preserve offering both public and private to the employee.

The private option will become unaffordable so personnel will choose the public option. IT WILL NOT BE FREE. We will pay for it along near all the stimulus packages thru higher payroll taxes.
of course it will, you can't compete with a product explicitly FREE - if the USPS was free, UPS and FedEx would lose eventually. Common sense really.
I'm afraid I live among people such as yourself. Health Care should be free. You claim you are the religious party. Do you feel Jesus maid a profit when he helped people? Your side also merely voted to expand National Flood Insurance, which is a government run insurance, but you oppose the public opportunity because you don't want a government run insurance company. That concerns me.
all the political affairs has to du is raise the income restrictions they hold on medicaid and the millions withoout coverage are covered,..but nooo that is too simple
Yes, and I'm thinking that it be intended to work that way. In Tennessee the public option cause private insurance rates to go up.
Free bazaar...................That's a joke. Source(s): Fox News
Yes I am. I would rather see the inome requirements lowered for medicare. At the very most minuscule have the public option be a pro tem situation for those in need (institute a time table where on earth no longer eligable).

I have friends and family short health insurance and would like them to know how to get care minus worrying about the money. They have fall on hard times by no fault of their own. They aren't inactive and refusing to work. Those are the people who NEED and deserve give a hand. Sadly too many lazy bums hold made it virtually impossible for people like them to achieve assistance.
