Since America is a free country and we adjectives enjoy equal opportunity, WHY don't 50 million enjoy insurance?

Answers: If you took the numbers, I believe give or take a few 10 million are illegals, and another 15-20 make more than $50,000 a year so they could afford insurance. Of that 50 million only roughly 16 million or so really cannot afford it or it isn't available to them though their company (maybe because they only work part time or something similar to that).

I'd rather see the government force insurance companies to provide a low cost plan to such associates than for the government to become a plan provider.
well, a ton of them aren't Americans, but illegal immigrant. They include illegal immigrants contained by the count of "uninsured Americans." They also include the Americans who can afford insurance, but elect not to pay for it. They also include everyone who is on Medicaid. so......after you go and find how various Americans are actually uninsured apart from their own decision to not purchase coverage, come stern and ask about that. You can get individual insurance for one creature for about $50-$75 a month. I know, because I do it for my granddaughter, and the coverage is the same as what my employer provides for me. Liberal medium blows the insruance problem way out of proportion.
This isn't about healthcare rearrange, it's about government control.
Several reasons. Anyone can go to arts school and become a lawyer. Some people choose to graduate elevated school, recieve a bachelor's and go to directive school. Some don't. Anyone in this country can recieve a free background through the 12th grade. From there they can elect to purloin out a loan and go to college. No one said life be easy, in certainty I'm sure you have been told life's a b****. Then again some populace just don't have what it take to make it in this society. Those citizens that truly can't make it for whatever principle are the one's that we try to protect in our society. But, those systems which make this a great country are becoming abused. For instance, not a soul can look me square in the eye and say that social welfare contained by this country is not abused. Check out my source. If there is a way to bear advantage of the system someone somewhere is going to do it. Why should I be punished for their actions. Why is it that I should repay taxes on every cent I make so that I can pay for someone who does not call for it because they choose not to provide for themselves. Someone is going to have to suffer, why me? I do indeed feel bleak for those people that desperately need healthcare and can't afford it. In certainty, I think we have a responsibility to lend a hand those individuals out. In my state we do, see my second source. What I don't understand is why the government pitches this healthcare reorganization as a second option. How can people who couldn't carry their first option afford the second one if it really won't change anything? Are we going to dispense those 50 million uninsured FREE healthcare coverage? Will the government intervene and set the prices that it is willing to clear for particular services? What will that do to those brilliant minds that are going to school to become doctors? Will they quit because the money that was once in it is no longer and they touch they can make more money in another pasture? These are all questions which must be answered. I chose not to by health insurance because I can buy over the counter tablets for small stuff, such as colds and fever. I watch what I drink most of the time and the VA take care of me for emergency simply. If you can afford to by a pack of cigarette a day, you can afford it, and if you can, the state will provide you with some form of relieve. So I don't buy in to Obama Bull Crap. There are a variety of reason.

Some are young kids who are healthy and who own chosen to do without insurance.

Some have started a current job and are in that 90 morning review period before they qualify for benefits.

Some honestly can't afford it.

Some are illegals.

Some work for job where insurance is not offered as a perk and they haven't bought their own plans for whatever origin - cost, haven't gotten around to it, etc.

There is a colossal portion of uninsured that could actually afford insurance if they were forced to retribution for it. Let's face it, you have to enjoy health insurance, you'll eventually need it and if you don't enjoy insurance you won't be able to swing the bill. So why should those that choose to be irresponsible not have to earnings for their health care at adjectives? If they don't pay who do you think get stuck with it with our current system? Exactly, you do and I do. I articulate we support nationalized health care and force those bums to settle up at least part of their honourable share!

Some people choose to not get robustness care, I didn't get any until I be almost 30. Some cannot afford it but there are means for them to win the help they need.
