Answers: 50 million..first of all..is a bogus number..39% of uninsured live contained by the border states..21% of those uninsured are ILLEGALS..2nd those well to do 18 to 30 yr olds can well afford insurance but would fairly spend it on other things..4th..those changing jobs will resume ins. 5th..those next to existing maladies..6th..those to poor to afford anything..which are cover already with schip..Medicaid..medicare..vet's benefits..very soon they say medicare is broke..yet obama wishes to cut 500 million from medicare..well if it is broke........so the 50 million the dems push is a lie.

99.9999% of race want reform -- the kind of streamlining differs however.
Because the government is already involved. They are the reason that those who don't own it (those that don't choose not to have it) don't have it. If within was no government intervention contained by health insurance industry, it would behoove the insurance companies to cover everyone, allowing them to be more competitive

The number of people who do not hold health insurance who want it is 8 million., which can easily be solved by given import tax credits to all businesses for providing it.

10-15 million of those are unlawful immigrants. Another 10-12 million are young adults who could afford insurance but choose not to buy it. About 15 million qualify for Medicaid or other rule benefits, yet have not signed up.

So......50 million is an over stated number.
Part of it is some of the regulations that are on the insurance markets. For example, if the guy down the street here in Lake Placid, NY, can cover me for $800 a month, but a firm contained by Port Charlotte, FL can give me the same coverage for $550, why would I buy the insurance from the guy down the street? The with the sole purpose reason is that law prohibits me from buying from the guy surrounded by Florida.
Also, there are some medications I have need of a doctors prescription for that could be made available over the counter. Certain skin medications for psoriasis or eczema require a prescription, but you would have to be dumber than an idiot to misuse them.
By the track, I don;t think anyone is really anti-reform. We are anti government control.
