I am 19 years old and am a full time college student, I was planning on getting married and surrounded by turn will be losing my dependent status on my mom's health insurance.. So my question is.... what are my option for health insurance... I make lower than 10000 a year and am a full time student with no parental financial support... is there a cheap or free method to obtain health insurance for someone within my position if so how do I get it..... yes, there is sustain for you. go to student services, ask about a catastrophic policy for students, they are cheap and cover the big stuff ie heart attach etc. If you bring a cold, take tylenol, this policy is not for that. I had one when i go to school, and they are pretty cheap. good luck.
