Former Soldier get note for Free Pell Grant for Unemployement Insurance holders?
So I finally got yesterdays mail today and I get a letter from Washington State Unemployment. It states that President Obama has authorized special grant to go back to arts school if you are unemployed..
Has anyone else recieved this letter? I did yesterday, but I don't know where on earth this came from... I get laying-off since I got out of the Army, and will be going to school within 3 weeks using the new gi bill..
Basically has anyone else gotten this epistle.. It says for me to contact my school, put in the picture about this letter, and posiible to achieve a $5,000 pell grant for school..
It also have info for still recieving benefits.. I filled out paperwork with the Washing state severance last week telling them I will be going to School. The female on the other end talked going on for commisioner approved training, I applied, then I get this communiqué about the free money, and it comes from the Commisiioner of Washington State Unemployment...
In other words, free money is free money, and i am going to try and get some.... At lowest I am not AIG
