Could I use insurance to acquire another free Blackberry Storm?
Could I call customer service, say I lost it, own them send me a new one, afterwards a couple of weeks later say I found my antediluvian one and activate on my sons line? Or would the phones permit number be blacklisted and not work on anyones line?

if you say you have lost it, later they would ask you to send it to them if you ever found it. it would not work. otherwise, a lot more inhabitants would have done that. each phone have an ESN number. if you say you have lost it/ it be stolen, then the ESN would be documented and you would not be able to set in motion the phone.
