Is the saloon insurance free for me?

Ok, my family has State Farm and my mom and dad are on the insurance. If they index me as part-time, will they have to pay packet extra for me (I have a clear driving record.)? I tried to ask the agent this ask,but I guess he didn't understand what I was trying to say-so.

He said anyone that my parents give permission to can drive the motor and they'll cover if there's an accident. So, does that mean the nickname has to APPEAR on the insurance if I'm part time?
Answers:
Yes, they will put on a pedestal their insurance premium to include you and it will be SIGNIFICANT if you are under 25 and live in their home.
if you just drive the motor once in a while your folks' insurance will cover it.
if they are giving you the car, or if you are driving it every afternoon to work or school, then you must be added to their insurance, and it is not free.
why would it be free?
um
you compensate for insurance
they dont give free insurance..
What that routine is a very occasional driver - someone not of the household.

Yes, their rates will increase once you get your drivers license, or once they make the addition of you to their policy. I am glad that your record is clear, and keep it that track because once you have your license for 6 years, that will give you a better rate. Until after, you are screwed by statistics - young drivers are much more likely to speed and wreck and so you rate through the nose.
