Can I or should I receive dental insurance?

My dentist told me that I need to have six filling before getting braces (at least $100 per tooth); higher than that, the orthodontist I went to suggested that I have four to six teeth pulled up to that time the braces are put on. I'm looking at a cost of $1000.00 or more total before braces.

I can get on a grant plan, but am thinking about dental insurance.

Is it worth getting? Is there any low-cost insurance that would cover the filling and tooth extraction? No scams, please, if possible. ;)

healthplans.bebto.com - my family have this form insurance. It is affordable and has good coverage for dental issues.
Yes --

Go to dentalplans.com and have a look.

The discount cards (generally 100$ a year) or so, cut things within half at many places.

Call your dental bureau and see what discounts they accept. If none, call around and find some that do. It is all right worth it.
I would ignite you to visit this great website: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago when I was within college and they have saved me thousands of dollars on adjectives dental services. From xrays, exams, fillings, Cleanings, root canals, and even my braces. They even have my extremely affordable plan active in 2 hours and be able to use them the very same morning. hope this helps
