Getting braces, entail some info just about dental clinics and dental insurance?
Hello, I am getting braces soon, I live in Seattle, WA. I would like to find out a clinic that does braces it doesn't own to be at Seattle, I practically can go far distances from Seattle.
Could anyone recommend me a dental place or clinic to get my braces and an appropriate and apt insurance for that clinic that would work.
Could someone explain to me how all this works, because I've got no clue what and where on earth.
Answers:
ably, about where to be in motion, i can't really help on that.
if you have insurance, they'll most plausible pay for it. the dentist will take pictures, x-rays, and they'll use some clay-like stuff to return with a mold of your teeth. they'll send the x-rays to your insurance company and see if they approve. if they do, then they'll contribute you the braces.
when they put the little pieces [brackets] on, it's nothing. they'll put a wire on after that, and when they tighten it, it'll hurt for in the region of a week or so. it'll be painful to eat, so you'll enjoy to eat stuff like soup, rime cream, yogurt, etc.
you'll go back every month to get hold of your wire tightened and after a few times of doing that, it won't hurt anymore. i just get them tightened the other week and i don't even feel any pain :)
don't guzzle anything hard, chewy or sticky. and no gum, because that'll move the braces. they'll most likely present you a paper with a inventory of stuff not to eat, like popcorn, apples, caramel, etc. i still put away popcorn sometimes though, lol. if you're still going to eat stuff like apples and carrot, cut it into small pieces. :)
Roma,
Sounds as if you don't currently have dental insurance. A dental discount plan would be your best choice, as they have no waiting period and no limits on the dental services.
