I have been taking aleeve but it isn't helping anymore. I am looking into dental insurance plans that I can purchase.
If I move about to my family doctor would he give me something for the aching for the time being? Or would he just report to me he isn't a dentist?

Root canals are pricey, and if it's a hindmost tooth, they will also want to put a crown on it so the tooth won't break. All total, that is about $18OO-$2000 depending on the dentist. And if an endodontist have to do it, even more. Do you have a dental school close by? It is a hassle because the appointments cart forever, but the cost is drastically cheaper. Maybe that's an option.
