Can you hold two dental insurances and a dental plan?
My dentist told me today that I would be a good candidate for invisalign express treatment (this is not the first time this have been suggested to me by a dentist). However, delta dental insurance does not cover orthodontic treatment. My dentist quoted me a price of $3500.00 for the treatment. So I was thinking in the order of purchasing another dental insurancethat covers orthodontic treatments and a dental plan to knock off the rest of the cost. I looked online to find a dental plan that discounts orthodontic procedures and I found this one: http://www.dentalplans.com/dentalplans/orthocarehome.asp?zipcode=46311.
Now I just entail to find a dental insurance that covers adult orthodontic treatments.

I would encourage you to call in this site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago now and they have save me thousands of dollars since. From cleanings, xrays, crowns..etc. My braces only cost me $2000 from the original quote of $4500. All though it may differ contained by the area you live, but the savings are great. I don't believe you will find a company(ies) that will cover the entire cost. Weather it is Invasilign or braces. Most will cover partly. Invasalign is technically still new, and coverage for that is predetermined. hope this helps.
Most often insurance plans will not cover ortho if you are over 16 years of age, I would not push for buying other coverage for this procedure, you may find that the cost of extra insurance in the long run will out weigh the cost of the procedure. Remember this rule of thumb: Insurance is not to give you free services or recompense your bills but to help with the burden of cost. Otherwise folks with severe health issues would buy second and third insurance policies, It of late is not as simple as you make it sound. Sorry, newly the cold hard facts. Source(s): RDA
