Mexico.
If in attendance is a dental school nearby she could jump there and let the dental students work on her. It usually is free or low cost.
We have dentists contained by PA that advertise credit plans. I have dental insurance and, believe me, it doesn't wage much! Check it out, you must have dentists in Maryland that hold credit plans. Ours advertises six months interest free. Does Maryland have Medical Assistance for low income? Maybe you could check that out. I preference you the best in finding help for your friend.
She if she qualify for Medicare. Some, but not all, of the Medicare plans in MD grant adult benefits. (Amerigroup is the one I can think of bad the top of my head.)
Is there any possibility that she's eligible for medicaide or social assistance (i.e., welfare, Jewish Family Services ... she doesn't call for to be Jewish to get help!)? That would be the first entity I'd check into, if I were her.

There are some dentists that work with a program (I forget the name) that finances dental work...genus of like a credit card, but only for dentists. She might look into that too.
Finally, she might check next to local dental colleges. A lot of them will do low-cost or free dental work in trade for the experience. It may not be the BEST option, but its better than zilch at all.

I am not trying to be show, but the dentist is right. I hear that same story everyday. Dentists have to make money somehow, and if they feel sorry for everyone with no insurance, they would end up going ruined.

But there are payment plans available through dental nouns companies. They usually do a credit check, so your friend would have to not be considered a credit risk. Source(s): dental assistant for 10 yrs.

type your citys describe then low-fee or free clinics
If she needs extensive work done which may cost deeply of money, Has she ever thought about going abroad for dental work. Thailand is one of an interesting places which plentiful dentist are graduated and well trained from USA and heaps of them are American Board in their related field. The hospital and clinic are world class standard. The price is moderately cheap, for example, Crown, Bridge is approx USD 260 - 460 and Root Canal Treatment is approx. USD 105 - 310 and etc. Hotel rate is started from USD 25 and you can buy a meal at USD 2 (not in big restaurant). Airfare, for example, approx. USD 1,035 Texas-Bangkok-Texas (rate for Sep 06).
find a dendal college and hope for the best. otherwise most big dental practises will work out a payment plan.
