DONT GET INVISLAGIN. I got invislagin give or take a few a year ago, and it straightened my teeth quite a bit, but they are still crocked the dentist said it is because invislagin straightens from the top of your teeth instead the front like conventional braces. As far as insurances goes...I dont think insurance covers them, but I could br wrong, I purely know my insurance didnt cover them. Just DONT get invislagin get regular braces.
Usually, I vote usually, the dental office will bill your insurance for ortho (or brace) treatment without specifying whether it is regular braces or Invisalign you are getting. That's because braces is braces, it is to correct your bite and the insurance company does not prudence about how you correct them. However, there are some insurances that specify no Invisalign coverage because they consider them as cosmetic and they want to acquire away from paying for them. The best thing to do is to ask the dental office you travel to get your treatment and ask them if they need to specify which type of braces you are getting to the insurance company. If not, you are free to set travel! Good luck.
I am sorry, i usually don't criticize someone else answer but I've got to speak up to Jason. I believe your doc gave you the run around when he/she told you that crap more or less Invisalign straighten your teeth from the top and not from the front. What a load of c***! The fact is your doc poor to do a good job and departed you with crooked teeth. Source(s): Dental assistant
