It's almost impossible to buy dental insurance on your own - they're almost exclusively group plans.
If you can't afford dental care, try joining a discount plan. There are plenty, so shop around. Or negotiate with your dentist.
If you're predisposed to let a student work on you (under a teacher's supervision) you can get free or low cost dental trouble at the clinic of a dental school.
find your local dental hospital which trains student dentists and book an appointment there. it will be a final year student who works on you. contained by the uk it's free so i suppose in the u.s it won't cost much. then thieve out insurance.
Give this a try: This happened to me once, need an expensive gold cap w/ no insurance. I asked the dental department if they carried any insurance and I got a year for $64 that cut the costs of everything in at smallest half.
I would encourage you to call round this site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I singed up online over 5 years ago now and they have save me thousands on all services. From root canals, cleanings, xrays, crowns..etc. All services are included surrounded by this very affordable plan. Cosmetic and orthodontics are also included. They even had my benefits involved in 2 hours and was competent to use it the very same day. hope this help.
for deciding on which dental plan you should take, you can read the following article and opt

dental insurance you purchase yourself-is not really all that helpful-they restrict who you budge to etc. The dentists who do take it-are desperate to have patients-so they agree to cut their fees contained by half just to steal this type of insurance. Is this really the type of dentist you want to go to? It is more cost effective to get hold of a no interest finance such as Care Credit- and put your money toward dental work-not the insurance companies pocket...
