Can I obtain my own dental insurance?
I need dental work done, and I want to buy dental insurance as it is not offered through my company. Can I do that? How much will it cost? What do they look at in writ to decide the cost? Where do I look for dental insurance?
Answers:
Sure you can, but they don't pay out more than they cost. There are heavy deductibles, substantial copays, waiting periods (you usually have to hang around at least 3 - 6 months), and strict limitations on how much they'll pay out. I haven't see any dental plan that pays out more than it takes in.
You can save up to 60% to 80% next to ASP's Health Care and Dental Saving Plan and you call also receive a free Motorola Cell Phone. The lowest price you can ever find for health insurance.
Cell Phone:
1. No each day charge
2. NO contract
3. No Long Distance fee
4.No COntract
5.No Overages

Sure. AND, dental insurance can pay out more than it take in. There are waiting periods intrinsically or everyone would wait until they needed a root canal to buy one.
They can run around $40 per month and cover up to $1500 per.
Having said that if you need coverage for work that can't wait 12-18 months afterwards you should get a discount dental plan. Discount dental is very different than discount robustness because nobody's ever gone bankrupt buying a discount dental plan. Dental insurance only covers ~$1500/year so buying a discount dental plan at $100 per year (give or take) can take home a lot of sense.
