You want to beware of these so-called discount dental programs where you pay approaching 13.00 a month. I signed up for one and it was a sheer ripoff! I went to the dentist and out of a 500.00 bill they rewarded only 27.00 of it. Then when I tried to cancel it they said after 30 days you are locked into the contract and can't, but if I want to write their grievance committee I can to see if they can kind an exception. Well I did and they did cancel after I wrote a long nasty notification.

You really need to read the fine, fine, fine print as to what they cover and make SURE things are covered. Otherwise you terminate up wasting money with them.
The only piece I would be wary about is how tons providers that are actually participating in those plans and also check on what you are buying. Are you buying insurance or discount plans. The insurances lone give you but so much in a year, and throughout the year you still enjoy the premium AND copays. I actually am an independent rep for one of the largest discount dental/health plans around. Mine costs $19.95 per month for family access AND give you access to not only the dental, but vision, chiropractic and prescription discount programs. If you also needed physician you take get the dental, vision, chiro. prescription and physician for solitary $39.95/month for family. With this company I could check for you BEFORE you purchase, to see how many doctors play a part in your area, so you are sure to own access to the discounts. I am not familiar with those plans on that website.
If you would close to me to check for you just email your zip and city, or even if you hold any questions feel free to email too! Source(s): Dental professional over 13yrs
I would encourage a look in this site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years now and has truly benefited me. The rep is great and this explains the plan massively well.
Hello...I haven't experience with the dental insurance you mention, but if you want a tried and prove plan be in motion to the "Delta Dental Plan". Be careful which plan you decide on....I have a patient who thought she had a worthy plan only to find out that it only rewarded 20% of the fees charged by only dentist they approved of.....Good luck and be careful..
