Best dental insurance?
I need dental insurance for my 5 year old son and conceivably myself also. Doe's anyone know the best plan to go with?

There really is no BEST insurance becasue all companies have a "great" plan adjectives the way down to crappy plans. It depends on what your budget is to pay for premiums. It really depends on what it is that you would mostly need. Unfortunately insurance premiums are expensive if you have to clear for it completely out of your pocket instead of having an employer pay for a portion. The piece with insurance is that they only pass you a certain that they will pay for per year, and afterwards during the year you still have copays along the way depending on your treatment. so not one and only are you paying the premium you end up paying 20-60% of the treatment costs also. you might end up better past its sell-by date if you opt for a discount plan, because even though you pay out of pocket for everything, you are paying discounted prices, (anywhere from 15% - 80%), and in the long run this could work out to be better financially. As far as cleanings, (for example) near the company I am an independent rep for, instead of paying $105 (average price- depends on your location) for just a cleaning and nit including xrays, exam, you'd pay as low as $38. Braces are as low as $2200(discounted price) vs $4800 & up. the plan I am taling roughly only costs $19.95/month for access to the plan and with the dental you also capture the vision, chiropractic and prescription discount plans.
