Dental/Gum/Mouth work lacking Dental Insurance....?

Is there a way to attain dental work done using medical insurance instead of dental insurance?

My employer offers dental coverage AFTER a 12 month waiting period. I own been to a dentist a few months ago and he is concerned about a lesion I own on my gums behind my two bottom teeth. He recommended a periodontist, but I don't have dental insurance and i.e. a dental specialist.

My primary care doctors suggested seeing an ENT... Does anyone know any other route I could take? Perhaps an oral surgeon? I am worried that I may lose my teeth if I don't whip care of this soon! :0(

Many dental offices take CARE CREDIT a healthcare financing credit card....ask around....
It is close to a credit card and you just make compensation....
google it.
I be once in that situation with college though. I needed coverage ASAP but I would own to wait 6-12 months. Then I found this great plan that I signed up for online over 5 years ago now. www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com They hold saved me thousands from root canals, extractions, cleanings..etc. All services are included within this very affordable plan. Periodontist and oral surgeons are included. They even had my benefits alive in 2 hours and was competent to use it the very same day. hope this help.
Ask your dentist to give you a referral to the local dental arts school, they are very competant and next to nought with regards to charges.
