Dental Insurance?

Does anybody know an inexpensive yet good dental insurance within Northern CA? I am on a tight budget. The cheapest one I saw is Deltacare for $97/year but I don't know if it's any good. Help please.
Thanks!

The problem with getting dental insurance on your own to some extent than as part of a group is that you're going to pay through the trunk (or should I say, pay through the mouth!). I've be selling dental coverage for over seven years now and in my on the fence opinion, most private dental insurance policies are not worth the money they charge

If you are intent on getting traditional dental insurance, I would strongly suggest you call up a reputable insurance agent and ask them for their serve in finding you good dental insurance.

However, you might consider the opportunity of joining a "discount dental plan" which can cost as little as $7 or $8 per month. These are not actual insurance plans but rather like shopper's clubs (i.e. Costco, Sam's Club, etc.) where on earth members receive substantial discounts (on average 33%) on all dental work providing they travel to a dentist that accepts that plan.

If all else fail, contact the California Dental Health Society and see if they can give you any advice. They are within the phonebook. Source(s): http://www.discountdental4u.net/compare.…
If you are willing to do some comparison shopping you should be able to find some wearing clothes rates in N. CA. In order to be paid this a little easier I would suggest using one or both of the following free quoting services.

http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=60020&…

Both of these services are reliable, secure and will provide quotes from nultiple companies.

This beat calling a hundred agents or clicking through 20 or 30 sites.

Also there's a very good insurance consumer site at http://www.InsuranceEasy.org they provide not merely dental but almost any type of insurance quote that the average person needs.

I've one-sidedly know many people who hold saved several hundreds of dollars on their auto insurance through this site. The only function I mention this is because you might be able to cut the cost of your auto insurance which will free up money so that you can apply more towards a good dental plan.

Just an perception. Hope this helps!
