I own always had insurance provided to me from work, so I don't know what to do and how expensive it is going to be! If anyone could back me that would be great! I live in texas.

Private, it's call private insurance.

I haven't seen a private dental policy that pays out more than it costs.

A good, low deductible form insurance plan - assuming you're healthy - is going to cost about $200 per kid, per month, and nearly $300 per month if you're a 30 something healthy adult.

If there's stuff wrong, it costs more, or they won't cover the "stuff". Source(s): agent, 21+ years
Many states (I do not know if Texas is one of them) can provide health/dental coverage for your kids. There may be limits on income and such. You will own to do some research on your own.

As for private insurance coverage, $300 per month won't provide much coverage. Contact Blue Cross/Blue Shield in your area for a quote.
all i can say is "biddable luck" finding insurance for you and your children for $300. with my employers paying for most of my insurance, member of staff and spouse coverage is over $400 a month just for medical. dental coverage is not included in that price.
it will be completely hard to get kinfolk insurance for $300 a month ...next to impossible in reality. You would be better off to have him NOT recompense you that extra, and see if you all qualify for Medicaid ...it's free, but you have to be particularly low income to qualify.

Good luck
We pay for our own insurance while my hubby is in nouns. We live in Kentucky, and we just get our kids on state insurance. Worth the half day I spent at the Welfare department. Also, we are insured through Aetna...spec for us, Tennessee Rurual Health through Farm Bureau. It's about $300 per month for a family. It is really correct. We have $1000 deductible and have $15 copays. Coverage is great. You also don't enjoy to live in TN to have it, but your state might own something comparable. Also, for dental, look into a dental discount plan like Carington or Aetna dental, etc. You can pay around $10 a month and bring back some great discounts--and some of them include vision and pharmacy discounts also. Dental insurance is just not worth it. It's not hopeless and you will know how to find something that will work--it just takes some research. Good luck! :)
