Dental strictness lacking insurance/money?

I am a third-year college student. I'm still listed as a dependent under my mother. Over the holidays, my mom lost her opening. She still hasn't found a new one, which leaves me without any medical insurance whatsoever. I create $314 a month at a minimum wage job. This does not even cover my full month's rent ($470/month). I barely engender ends meet all the time and any/all extra money I enjoy goes to making sure I don't starve.

Needless to say, it's be an extremely stressful month.

To add onto that stress, I have a cavity problem. My top right pay for molar has had a cavity for over a year. I started in the order of a year and a half ago with my mom's dentist within her city taking care of other cavities that be the result of another period of time in large school when we had no insurance. I've be taking extremely good care of my teeth since I well-read of my cavity problems, but there's only so much I can do when I already have one. This cavity have started to make my tooth and jaw nouns hurt. I know that it's a really bad sign, but I am at a loss for what to do.

I have NO money. Seriously. There is certainly no possible way for me to pay any loving of medical bills. I also have a chronic fear of dentistry due to my end two dentists being mean and rough beside me and causing pain during procedures. Before my mom lost her livelihood, I was looking into a local dentist who practices sedation.

I'm terrified of the prospect of a free clinic because I'm not sure they'd respond economically to my fears and be willing to work with me. The end dentist I went to seemed angry and annoyed at my anxiety. So what can I do? I can't let this go much longer but I'm scared out of your wits at racking up a huge bill I can't afford to pay.

What ever state you live in check beside their health department..which you can easily find online, and apply for for state insurance. There are alot of free clinics ( medical and dental) out here, you only have to do some research! hope this helps!
Try your local heath department. You should also apply for assistance in your state. We are a line of 3 and both of us work (I work full-time my husband works part-time) and we get help through the state. It's worth a try! And stir get those teeth fixed. If all else fail ask a friends/family member for a loan.
You can definitely obtain on state assistance for medical and dental and food assistance as long as your mom doesn't claim you as a dependent anymore. You can do it temporarily until your mom starts working again, or do it long term as it would probably benefit the both of you. Go to the local health services organization and ask them what's available to you, or try to find their website. It depends on the state, but they usually have applications online and a list of resources that can back. And with state assistance, you will be able to choose your own doctor and dentist and hold on to the problem taken care of. I had equal problem with a cavity and no insurance, but I made too much for financial aid from the state so I was stuck lacking insurance for 4 years and now paid 1000$ end week to repair that ONE tooth that I let get unbridled. Ugh. Good luck!
Go to the local dentist you found and thought of going to beforehand all of this financial stuff happened. You shouldn't slackness your teeth. lucky for me i have no problems and forced myself to go after 15 years of not going to a dentist because i didn't hold insurance.
While i was there, within was another patient who have cavity problems and overheard him and the receptionist making a payment plan.
so go and see what they articulate.
