How can I achieve my Dental Insurance to Pay consistantly?

I get my work done at a dental school where on earth the faculty and dental students work on my teeth. I pay out of pocket and my insurance is suposed to reimburse me. 50% of the time it does 50% it sends me forms that want more information. I went and have two wisdom teeth pulled. The dental school give me the same print out to give to my insurance company. The company rewarded for one tooth, but the other tooth they claimed they wanted the residents license and tax ego number. The tooth they paid for had the school license number, the deans license number and the schools tax psyche number. They accepted the information for one claim, but not the other. The school tell me the information they provided is sufficient and the dental student who is not paid does not have a duty id number. I explained this to the insurance company, but they insist on the infomation. What can I do to be reimbursed?
Answers:
I have gone to the school as well, and it is a pain getting things compensated for.
Definatly document all your work and see if the school will tolerate
try again to help you push the paperwork through.. i'm still fighting something from over a year ago.. so instead..

I found something next to almost the exact same pricing and you can go to a bunch of dentists and it's not a pain getting reimbursed since they merely give you an upfront discount nad then you remuneration the difference.

First try getting expensive work preauthorized if possible. You dispatch in forms and x-rays in finance to get a form that tells you exactly what they will foot and what your part will be. Then if they give you flack after this, you of late make a copy of the form and send it within to them. You may notice that many of these expensive things resembling crowns, root canals, wisdom tooth extractions, etc are supposed to be preauthorized. Also, convey in the info requested, but try being a short time meaner. Hate to say it, but insurance companies do NOT want to pay. They will request charts, numbers, x-rays, etc in the past finally approving it. However, they are going to requiring offices to have a provider #. If your college doesn't have a provider # this may be causing some of the confusion also. The insurance companies in a minute deny claims if you don't have the provider # on there. The thesis work is VERY specific. If you don't fill out each blank correctly near correct codes, it will be denied. Make sure you are getting the correct #'s for all. Source(s): dental hygienist
