Dental insurance?
My insurance expired this past March 31st because I turned 19 and so I am no longer on my parents insurance but while I was...I found out from the dentist that I own an impacted wisdom tooth. Well it wasn't bothering me then...but immediately all the sudden it is and I think it is errupted, because it is infected and is really sore and I can't put away or drink on that side. I really need to see a dentist but can't afford one without insurance. Does anyone know an insurance company(ies) that enjoy affordable dental insurance with NO waiting period and allows pre-existing conditions. From my empathy...they can look at your dental records to see if the problem was from formerly. Thanks, and I live in NC.

I would not even both with dental insurance for several reason. The premiums are very high and they will probably say-so you have a preexisting condition or make you loaf a certain amount of time before you can use it. I would suggest you contact the nearest dental college. There is one contained by Chapel Hill. They can probably do work based on your income; at the same time, I am sure it is not free. Lots of luck!! Source(s): http://www.dent.unc.edu/
Ameriplan Discount Programs has a dental discount policy for $19.95 per month. You can start immediately near no waiting and all pre-existing conditions are okay. Remember this is a discount program and not insurance. You will have to look at the enumerate of providers in your area. Check that out first until that time you buy the policy because some states do not have providers with the Ameriplan program. Go to www.MedicalAndDentalPlus.network for assistance and possible policy. You can sign up on line and be good to move about the next day. Good luck and I hope that this answers your ask and that you feel better soon!!
Raizel is correct you can get insurance to cover an existing condition. That would be close to getting car insurance after your car is wrecked.
Dental insurance usually have a 6 month wait for simple extractions and a 18 month wait for surgery and central work and would run around $30 per month
The dental college is a good idea.
Having a tooth pulled should individual run you about $250 without insurance. Just send for a dentist and ask them how much for a simple extraction. Source(s): Independent broker 9 years
