Dental insurance problem?
I suppose to get 2 crowns and I told that to insurance on February & its already April!
people who have this problem, how long did you wait to finally get crowns??
can I carry them any faster??
Answers:
Is the dentist holding the crowns ransom for payment?? The insurance won't pay newly because you call and tell them. They requirement at a minimum a claim form which shouldn't be submitted until after its in your mouth. Some may require supporting documents like xray copies and it sounds close to you already notified them which may also be required (if you have a really strict plan). Have you contacted the dentist and asked them how much longer?
You can communicate your insurance company you need one hundred crowns, but they will not do anything until they receive a pre-treatment estimate or claim for payment (with a supporting xray) from your dental department.
Call the dental office and ask if the estimate request was sent contained by or not. If not, ask them to submit it.
Were the impressions already taken for the crowns? If so, they certainly should have be back by now....
Good luck.
