Can my employer force me to enjoy dental/vision insurance?

The cost is out of my own pocket
This is the state of ME
My employers reasons for wise saying I can't cancel it keep varying... from "we'd need to terminate your employment to repeal it" to other things like "you'd have to prove you own other insurance"

When its time for signing up check the decline box.
There should be nothing that make you sign, unless your union and that is chunk of their benefits and its required because they went out of their way to put it contained by the contract.
It depends on the State laws. But in my state nobody can force you to enjoy coverage, however we need to sign a waiver to decline so the employer is not liable.

When you sign up for benefits, you are required to maintain benefits until the next uncap enrollment period. At that point, you should be given the option to decline insurance. You are rightfully bound to remain on the coverage as you are under a contract via your employer with the insurance plan. The exceptions to drop out of the insurance would be if you are no longer working within a job status that is covered by the insurance (such as dropping below the minimum hours or you translation to a job that is not covered by that plan). Another exception would be if you can provide a permit of coverage to show that you and your covered dependants are covered by another health care plan.
