No dental insurance but know I own a cavity...?

I am a college student (but my parents don't have insurane either so I'm not covered beneath theirs) and don't have tons of money for the dentist. One of my molars has rather hole in it though so I know I need to move about to the dentist. What is the most affordable way for me to have this taken thoroughness of? Thank you.

Try going to a dental school.
I discern your pain.
I don't have insurance any;-(
Good luck
Maybe you can turn to a free Dentist for the people who have Financial Assistance. They exist you know. ;)
Actually there are a few options...you can turn see if you qualify for medicaid (that pays for dental as well just not abundantly of dentists take it). If not...contact a local dental school....they might hold free clinics for the students to work on people right before they appropriate their boards.

OR you can contact the health department. They have low-cost thinking...they might offer dental as well, or put you surrounded by touch with someone who does.

Also call around...some dentists will adopt payments plans (providing that you pay a percentage up front). And remember...the longer you wait for treatment...the more expensive it will cost. (i.e. need it pulled or a root canal) So don't wait too long.

Good luck. Source(s): mom of 3 and one on the way
You may be capable of get medical insurance through your state. Check with your local welfare department. My state covers adjectives uninsured kids under 18 including dental. If you're over 18 it might be tougher. My local Catholic Charities is now offering some medical and dental relieve for free. You don't have to be Catholic to get serve. This is a tough situation. I have the same problem but I am a working developed without coverage. Sucks doesn't it. Hope these ideas grant you a couple leads. Good Luck!
you can go to a western dental and buy one of their insurance plans they also own monthly instalments you can do

go to this website --- it is fabulous --- it has save friends of mine tons and tons of money on dental care - and it's affordable. Your parents can join the ancestral plan and put you on it.... you get 3 free months if you sign up now.
It's not a gimmick. It's of poorer quality my husband's insurance through his company -- but it's better than no insurance - and as I said before - it's affordable!!
dance to a dental school, they are great, check your college and see if they have one. but for check your local yellow pages. AND they DO hold instructors over seeing the student's work. i had some work and it DIDN'T hurt (they will anesthesize-sorry for the spelling- you) and was tremendously reasonable. The most affordable way would be to go to a dental conservatory and have one of the students take comfort of it for you. That would be the cheapest way out of anything you could do.
