I call for subsidiary or supplemental Dental insurance?

I haven't seen ANY dental insurances that pay out more than they cost - lower OR primary.
You don't need dental insurance unless you have primary dental problems. Your six month cleaning should cost $50-$75 - that's $150/year and most dental insurance costs over $200 annually. The dental coverage my company offered me was about $330 annually and it costs smaller amount than half of that for my cleanings so I denied it.
I'd be surprised if you could find a dental insurance policy that would work for you.

It depends on where you live. Dental insurance should run in the order of $30/month and if you get a PPO dental plan you'd get net discounts AND coverage up to $1500/year...which at last count is far more benefit than $30/month would get you.
In some areas; however, it doesn't net sense. But, blanket statements are usually made (and not justified) by the uneducated.
