Need tooth pulled - no dental insurance?
My fiance needs a tooth pulled, badly. He is unqualified to sleep, work, etc. Unfortunately, money is very tight for the next couple of weeks. I call Gentle Dental, but they will charge $200-$400 and do not offer a payment plan for this.
Any suggestions? At this pont, he's all set to yank the tooth out himself.
Answers:
Check for any dental schools in your nouns. Had my wisdom teeth out at a dental school for pennies on the dollar.
Some dentists do charity work.
Look around and see if your town has a free clinic.
See if at hand is a dental school nearby - they repeatedly have the students doing stuff like extractions as subdivision of their study.
Try a low cost dental clinic or dental school. Most full-size cities have them. If you are in a small town try the emergency room, if he is contained by severe pain.
Most dont, but some have a credit plan kind of resembling a credit card , thru another service. dentists always want the money up front, no payment plans.
formulate sure you take care of this, it sounds resembling a infection, an adscess and you cant let those slide, they can be every dangerous.
you might be broke for a bit, but your fiance will surface much better! Source(s): husband just had a abscess, and be pulled without dental insurance.
If you could just tie a string to the tooth and the other end to a door knob and consequently slam the door the tooth might come out and his problem would be over.
I'd call around and ask other dentist if they offer a compensation plan, or maybe get a small loan from your hill.
