Dental insurance isn't that expensive and I don't understand why most regular insurance doesn't cover dental expenses.
I think most orthodontists use a expenditure plan much like buying a car. You'll compensate so much a month, not everything up front.
But, the orthodontist may want you to have any cavities chock-full beforehand, or sometimes teeth need to be extracted before the braces can be put on.
