Dental Insurance?
I don't have dental insurance and I'm probably gonna have to own my tooth pulled. How much do you think it will cost? Is there generally a payment plan so I won't have to payment all at once or upfront? I've been told that dental insurance really isn't even worth it. What do you believe?

An extraction in the common dental office I work in catalogue from $75-$300. I would highly recommend having dental insurance if you own a history of dental problems. Insurance will help tremendously with dignified dollar procedures, such as, crown and bridgework, partials or braces. The cost can also vary depending on where on earth you live...I live in Las Vegas and a simple tooth extraction is about $100 and it can jump up from there. Dental insurance can be a good benefit especially if you tend to hold problems. But if all you've ever needed are cleanings then have insurance may not be worth it. Check out www.BestForLessDental.com they have really low rates, and you only own to meet the $100 deductible one time, not every year. Best of all, in attendance are no waiting periods like next to most dental insurance, and you can see any dentist you choose. It is a GREAT plan.
