Metlife recently changed their policies to include implant in for major. Source(s): Metlife Underwriter.
I work at a dentists bureau. For the most part you are on your own with the entrench but most insurances will pay up to half on the crown that go on it. So far, 2 insurances have paid a small amount on implant so times are changing-Educators mutual and pehp(there were some strict stipulations, though).
I don't feel you will find an insurance that covers implants.
Here is some info that may facilitate you. It's an affordable dental discount plan for your entire household with savings up to 80% for individual $19.95/ month. This also covers cosmetic dentistry. The package includes dental, vision, prescription, and chiropractic services.

Implants are expensive, that's for sure....
Dental insurance companies don't usually cover any of the payment for implants, but they do cover some of the cost of the crown that's put over/on it.
Beware if/when you do get dental insurance, some companies own a mandatory waiting period for prosthetic work...
If you're eligible, AARP has a wearing clothes plan with Delta Dental, and the premiums are decent. Source(s): RDA
