In requirement of individual dental/eye insurance plan?

I can't seem to be able to find a provider of individual dental and hallucination insurance.
My employer recently dropped these benefits.

My company dropped dental and trance as well. I have a discount medical plan for dental and trance. Insurance for dental and vision doesn't pay anything. When my company have vision I still paid $320 out of pocket and I have insurance. Source(s): http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/40534168
I own an individual eye plan through VSP. It costs me about $20 a month ($40 for a family plan). Cost is dependant upon where on earth you live and how many in your own flesh and blood.

Delta Dental offers individual plans for about $100 per year for individuals or in the region of $225 for families.

Well, within are individual dental plans out there, the problem is they don't pay out more than they bring in. When you "run the numbers" you'll find out you're better off paying out of pocket. The coverages are different, the copays are steep, in that are waiting periods, etc.

I don't know of any individual vision plans, though. That's even MORE approaching maternity coverage - you only buy it if you want to use it. Kinda defeat the whole "spread the risk" idea at the back insurance.

You're probably best off paying out of pocket for both. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
A yearly cleaning and exam will cost you less in need the insurance. Because of the deductible and waiting periods individual dental insurance is seldom is worth the premium and vision is never worth the premium. The charge for service type of discount plans are decent though. Some discount plans are scams so you involve to watch out.

Here is the link to find the GE plan that be mentioned above: http://www.dpbrokers.com/default.aspx?lo… Also look at the Aetna plan. Both are very good plans and some will include some hallucination discounts. Make sure you check the providers before signing up with any plan. Source(s): Independent Agent
I found interesting information about your answer here. Goodhttp://all-insurance-online.blogspot.com… luck!

If you involve an expensive dental job (eyes too): Argentina (medical travel) very cheap and the best dentist.
Being someone who sells hand benefits, I can tell you that I typically advise my clients to not purchase hallucination and dental. One typically does not recoup the cost of the premium. Here is what I would do, look up GE Wellness. This is a card that would cost $120 for a family per year. It is not insurance, it is the discounts that GE negotiate with providers...Compare this discount card with insurance, next do the math....It should just make more sense....
Alot of employers are dropping the Dental coverage it have become almost like Dental has become a luxury!
