Dental Insurance give somebody the third degree?
i have dental insurance (blue shield) my company just switched over to them. they never sent me a card. i know i have need of to call and have a investigational one sent but recently, my left molar have started to hurt. is there some way i could bring them to fax me a proof of insurance until i get a card sent thru the mail? i'm calling them tomorrow but i a short time ago want to know.

nowadays, some provider office will hold the phone number. you just give them your ssn and they will ring and verify that information before you are being see anyways.
I don't have that company, but I've had proof of insurance faxed to me. I've also be able to go to the company website, contributor information, and print out a card.

Sounds like to me that u enjoy the ppo coverage because u have not received an insurance card. Most cases even with ur insurance card u will entail to provide ur ssn so the ofgice can get ur benefits. In case it wondering what an HMO and PPO is, here it go. With an HMO u can only go to one assinged facility so if that's the suitcase u just call the bureau and provide ur name and they will automatically see if u belong there. Ur autograph would in there " list". With a PPO insurance u can dance to any dentist u want that takes ur insurance.On most ppo insurance cards it only have ur name and ur ID us ur ssn. Bottom line u don't really necessitate a card if ur sure of what insurance u have. Most offices do check benefits until that time u come in to ur appointment and if in doubt hail as the office and ask if they will stll see u. If they don't u may consider not going there at adjectives and finding a different one.
