Approval for Health & Dental Insurance?
What criteria do insurance companies use to approve you for insurance benefits? I submitted an application for health and dental insurance & have poor credit so I'm wondering if this could be a explanation I won't get approved. My family be on Medicaid, but as soon as finances looked better we wanted to be on regular health insurance. I'm simply curious what a person would do if they aren't approved for insurance? I have two small kids that really inevitability to be insured for obvious reasons, but also my son be born with a heart condition that was repaired, but he does require ongoing treatment. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think they look at credit as a huge factor but they do look at ongoing conditions and that could be a factor contained by whether or not you are approved. You might want to consider a discount benefit plan. You just pay a low monthly payment to cover your entire household and you get discount rates at dentists, doctors, pharmacies, etc. It's a great option for empire looking to save money but who are responsible enough to know that they have need of to be covered, especially for emergencies. Good luck to you and your family! Source(s): www.DiscountBenefitOptions.com
