I don't enjoy dental insurance. Are at hand any resources that I can look into for low cost dental contemplation?
I am looking for an actual "low cost" dental or medical healthcare insurance plan and NOT a "discounted" dental care service such as the AmeriPlan services. I am in involve of oral surgery and possibly a couple dental implants or bridge work, which of course is hugely expensive. Can anyone help me by providing a list of beneficial information? If there is a dental school surrounded by your area you might find some help for simple dental care e.g. extractions and oral surgery . Implants and bridges are nice, but you can survive without them, so that will be more difficult to buy on the cheap. Some dental clinics are offering payment plans structured around your income, but expect the level of watchfulness for which you pay.
There are exceptions. If you are, for example, a divorced mother trying to reenter the workforce you might find foundations that will subsidize what you need within order to help you find a virtuous job.
As a dentist I recommend calling your counties local Department of Family and Childrens Services. A lot of these services actually enjoy a dentist on staff that is available to help near any dental procedures you may need. If your county DFCS office does not provide any type of dental services they should know how to put you into contact with someone who will be able to assist you (ex: another state agency). Also try your local dental college if there is one around you, these procedures are usually provided and are very low contained by cost compared to a dental office itself.
