Can someone that isn't ancestral, be capable of put you on their dental insurance?

Yes they can, but I think you MIGHT have to live next to them. Also, the person with the dental insurance will be paying a bit more than usual.
I think solely a spouse or parents (if you are still a dependent) can put you on their insurance. I had to get one pulled that be hurting me, and it was only 100 dollars short insurance. It kinda sucks having to get it pulled, but a root waterway is like 500 bucks. I don't think filling are that expensive though.
