Which is best a dental plan or insurance?
wanna have lots of work done but really dont know much about any. and torn about which to do.
Answers:
It's not that easy to of late say "Oh BCBS is the best" because so many companies enjoy so many different plans to choose from. For Dental, at least where on earth I live, the best is probably Delta Dental, but even then some of their plans really suck. Shop around, dental work gets really expensive! Obviously, Medicaid allows patients to own work done for free (grrr...)
insurance doesn't cover any dental work unless its an fluke or impacted wisdom teeth. Health insurance is a must in casing of health problems, if your employer offers both steal it. If you are paying, go for the health ins. and trademark payment plans to your dentist (private dental ins, is expensive) Source(s): dental profession 20 years
Good point, whoever posted nearly being cautious next to your info online!
I'm one of those people who "advertise" on Y!Answers, but I don't consider that a bad entry.
I enjoy saving myself and others like mad of cash when it comes to making these kinds of decision.
Don't get scammed, and research everything you can.
If you'd like some more "advertising", e-mail me at georgilesc(a)yahoo.com and I'll point you to a great dental plan which also includes discounts on prescription drugs, chiropractic, and hallucination at no extra cost.
12 bucks a month. Plain and simple.
First you should understand the terms. "Insurance" and "Insurance plan" are matching thing. A person might hold health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance...adjectives through their employer.
Some people advertise here for "discount dental plans" where on earth you are sold a list of dentists who agree to perform work at a discount. Be remarkably careful before giving out personal information over the internet. Extreme word of warning is called for when buying such services from people who solicit customers surrounded by this type of setting.
Considering a dental plan doens't really cover very much, I'd dance with a health plan. You'll be paying more out of pocket any way if you use a dental plan. That's with any insurance provider.
