I lost part of the pack of my tooth. it hurts and i amble if it could become infected? I hold no dental insurance?
is it just because its sore or could it become serious... im willing to reimburse a dentist, but if it is nothing, then i will linger untill my insurance comes through

I did that a month ago! You will need to get hold of it filled before more of it breaks stale. However there is a product called Dentemp explicitly a kit you use to make your own makeshift fillings with. It will help out until you can get to a dentist.
If the tooth hurts then see an emergency dentist tomorrow. Look within the yellow pages and you will find one that have emergency hours.
If your tooth is partially lost your best bet is to have a dentist do an Xray and report you the extent of the damage and whether the tooth can be saved or not. Chances are you will be better bad trying to repair the tooth now instead of losing the whole entity later. If bacteria get inside somehow you could get an infection then it become serious pain. Its better safe than sorry. True dentists are expensive but if its hurting presently its best to get it checked. Good luck.
