Having the hardest time finding dental insurance. dont know jargon. i want braces and i want some insurance hel
Answers: My wife works for a company that offer discount dental benefits. It is really reasonable. $19.95 for household, and $11.95 for individual. It is up to 80% discount with no limitations or deductable. Source(s): http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/ewarner

That's how I found mine!

Delta Dental provides individual dental insurance. As part of their dental bunch, orthodontics is included: the cost is approximately $97 a month, though. After two years, you would have spent $2,400 in tax rates and had Delta pay approx $2,400 surrounded by ortho care fees. Not much of a savings, if your sole cost individual includes orthodontics and not other dental care. Here is their fee diary: http://www.deltadentalca.org/pmi/individ…
It is also sometimes cheaper to go directly to the company and buy individual plans than to go through a broker - approaching an internet broker. Brokers charge additional fees which you pay out monthly or per annum.

I do not know what humana dental charges, however you can also customize plans. Plus, unlike Delta, there are more plan options: PPO and HMO. I focus the general PPO plan which includes orthodontia might have a lifetime max of $1,000. However, you can customize the plan to cover up to $2,000. I am sure the customization includes extramural fees.
The Delta Dental and Human Plans are insurance plans vs. Dental Discount Plans like those typically offered on dentalplans.com, which provide a discount of 20% or more on set fees with participating providers. Compare the monthly/yearly charge costs with the overall treatment plan cost to determine how much money you will save, if any near the insurance companies. And then do a comparison cost of the Dental Discount plans to know which wil provide the lowest reduced cost for you. Good Luck.
By far the best site is dentalplans.com. What you will get for a one-time yearly excise is a network of dentists in your nouns that agree to work for significantly reduced rates. You can prequalify the particular network to see which dentists surrounded by your area accept the plans, and later even call the dentists to see exactly what their prices will be if you are are on the plan. There are several competing "networks", so take your time to pick the one that make financial sense. I used one of their plans a few years ago when I needed surgery, and the plan cost me $79 for the year, and it reduced the cost of the surgery by 40%.
they also have excellent telephone support... hail as them to ask for help with lingo. You can do this even before becoming a member of one of the plans. Also try dentistry.com for gobbledygook questions.
Good luck Source(s): Personal experience
I can definitely recommend http://www.everyonebenefits.com/40424269… They are a company that help people who can't afford retail on their benefits - everything from braces to medical care to mirage for less than $12/month. There's no hidden fees, copays, deductibles or anything resembling that at all. They are a very reputable company and will free you thousands. Rather than paying expensive premiums every month, then deductibles and copays, you just pay cheque a small percantage of what the orthodontist normally charges out of pocket and that's it! You won't find another company that can beat their plan, especially on braces. Check them out and please email me if you enjoy any questions. They are a member of the Better Business Bureau. Good luck.
It is difficult to find dental insurance without individual in a group. You might try Delta Dental to see if they are in your nouns. However, the coverage for things like braces is small maybe 10% of charges. And nearby also may be a waiting period involved. Doesn't hurt to try though.
