Dental insurance, any thinking?
Ok so i recently found out my policy was cancelled and i can't reinstate it at adjectives. I do not want a dental discount plan per the fact it seems resembling a scam, ive read the things about going to dental schools, paying the doc on a transfer of funds plan, but aren't there any legitmate insurances for dental insurance in ny? Im feeling like to pay the premium or whatever so why is it so frozen to find anything

DELTA DENTAL IS ONE OF THE BETTER DENTAL PLANS AROUND AS IS ANTHEM BLUE CROSS/ BLUE SHIELD.
CALL THESE COMPANIES AND THEY CAN SEND INFORMATION. Source(s): ME, IAM A DENTIST AND ACCEPT THESE PLANS. LITTLE PATIENT HASSLES HAVE BEEN ASSOC. WITH THEM FROM MY EXPERIENCE.
try safeguard dental insurance. they've worked great for me.
Delta IS a good plan, but not available for individuals.
Think of it from the insurance company point of view: if they cover a massive group, chances are only a controlled number of people will use the plan and they will take contained by more money than they will pay out.
If an individual wants dental insurance, it's because they already KNOW they are going to use it. Thus, they can't possibly charge more within premiums than they pay out to a dental office. There's no road to make money on individual dental insurance.
You could not, for example, go to a saloon insurance company and say, "I need auto insurance because I plan to total my sports car this year."
You are right to stay away from "discount dental plans." They are unregulated internet/home based businesses and if something goes wrong, you will be out of luck.
Try Delta Dental contained by your state, Cigna Healthcare and Blue Cross these seem to be the best one out there you can clear for.
