Are near any legal dental insurance plans for self employed those?
Are there any legitimate dental insurance plans for self employed associates? Not "discount programs", but true blue, real dental insurance programs for people whom are self employed? I hold combed the internet and cannot find any except the "bogus" discount programs. Surely it exists.
Answers:
You are wise to avoid internet "dental discount plans" as they are a scam.
Delta Dental is a huge group and across the world good insurance, but I don't know if they offer individual plans - my guess is "not."
In Washington State, within is an organization for self-employed people. They own managed to get medical and dental insurance as a group. Check to see if you can unite any such group in your area. This would distribute you more clout than trying to buy as an individual.
Talk to other people who do what you do - trade fairs, etc. They will probably know if something similar to this is available. If not, you could try to organize it yourself!
Try the Delta dental insurance. Peace! Source(s): www.deltadental.com
At least you have the discountplans figure out. Good for you.
Delta is selling individual plans in SOME states, so see if they have one for you. You will not mostly find good dental insurance for individuals. The thing is, insurance companies are within BUSINESS and they want to make a PROFIT. They know exactly how much any given group is going to spend for their dental needs, so they construct a excise schedule for that group and decide how much premium that they will necessitate to charge to pay out those fees for that group and still make money. Dental insurance can be a big loser for the insurance companies, because EVERYONE have dental problems. Not everyone has a heart attack.
I have a discount plan. If be a scam, then why would they have over 100k providers and be registered next to the Better Business Bureau?? Being self employed, would you want to have anything to do with a fraudulent company to increase your business?? My guess is no.
Providers simply end up getting 40% of the claim they file to insurance companies, so even though you are paying them a small fraction too, near are no claims forms or anything like that as well as they seize paid right away. This has a huge appeal to them one that they get their money right away. I actually own researched this.
I don't know about these other discount companies, but I can speak for Ameriplan. They are wonderful and have save people a lot of money. Maybe it's not what you're looking for, but don't be calling something a scam you know certainly nothing about.
