I agree that installment payment is your best bet.

If not, try to get your mother on your group insurance where on earth you work, as a dependent.

I knew one person who go to Mexico for dental work, and later had to spend thousands rear legs in the US undoing the damage. So "no" to that.

Canada, perchance.

Also, contact a dental school where you live. They make available discounts on teaching work done by students under a dentist's supervision.
Many dental offices offer dental plans directly within their offices. Some of the plans can range from monthly to every twelve months dues, offer dental work discounts and fairly fair. You will need to check with some local dentist to see what they extend and get comparisons before making a verdict. ie: How much is a filling vs composite? How much is a bridge, for missing teeth, vs a partial. X-ray, cleaning, office visit, all of these are important for continued dental vigour. Do they offer payment arrangments. If she qualify, discount dental offices or state assistant programs may help. You just get one set of teeth, try to keep em'. Dental insurance is a rip-off! Most Dentists will give you a payment plan after you negotiate your best agreement with him. Seriously, dentists just want to be remunerated. Ask for a discount...you'll get it!
Some insurance companies proffer dental policies for individuals but it can be quite pricey.

Talk to your dentist and ask if they will work out a payment plan for your mom's dental work.

See if there's a dental college contained by your area. They usually have opportunitites for individuals to go and get relatively inexpensive dental work done as long as one doesn't mind being worked on by a student.

You can also contact your local social services and see if your mom quallifies for state/city help.

Just because teeth are missing it doesn't propose they have to be replaced. People can survive just fine next to missing teeth.
I'm going to be the adversary on this one and say that dental insurance can be unbelievably helpful, but it depends on the plan.

Any dentist we approached when my husband needed a crown and we needed payments, they would not do it. Instead they offer a mid-interest dental credit card specifically run through Chase or Citibank. So this is not a great option! Plus these cards require at least $1,000 surrounded by dental work to be performed if the charge is to be approved for low interest and paid over a full year. Any lower amounts requires large interest and the payment will only be broken into two or three payments.

The best track to go - look for a local dentist who specializes in abstraction and dentures. We enjoy one in Vermont who removes all teeth and afterwards molds, creates, and fits dentures for around $800. That's a deal.

We do have dental insurance. I will cover cleanings twice a year which can prevent running into issues. But... it will not cover my children's flouride pills which the dentist say they need since we are on well dampen and the water does not contain flouride. I buy them a rinse instead.

It covers very little of a crown. Fillings it will singular pay 80% of IF you use a metal filing instead of resin, and plentiful dentists refuse to use metal fillings very soon. So it's hard finding one who will still do a metal filling.

It will one and only cover one crown, if it breaks or becomes loose, too bad for you. Same for a root waterway.

Some medical insurance plans cover teeth if it is an emergency and requires ER care. But you have to own medical insurance for that route to work.
Go to Canada. Or go to Mexico. Mexico have cheap dentists.
