Can I use my form insurance for dental procedures?
My periodontist want to perform some extensive dental procedures, including tooth extraction, bone implantation, dental implants, and flap procedures on my gums. This is going to be astronomically expensive, and my dental insurance plan will lone pay a maximum of $1200 in benefits per year, while my vigour insurance pays much better, with only a $2500 out of pocket maximum per year to me. Can I go and get my health insurance to cover these dental surgeries?
Answers:
Sorry, but I doubt that.
You can other call them and ask, obviously in the past starting any proceedures.
Other than that, just schedule the most substantial one first and go with one at a time.
If you are lucky nearby might be a dental school (university level) in your nouns and you could inquire with them if they would perform those surgeries for you. They are usually passageway cheaper than your dentist, since they use you as a teaching case. See what you can find out.
Good Luck.
I am a form insurance analyst... and unfortunately the best way to step is to find separate dental insurance that covers your condition. Your health insurance will NOT cover it. In my line of practice I recommend a separate dental plan because its awfully affordable and will cover pre-exist, family stuff, braces, you name it. Unfortunately thats hows the system is.
This is what I tender out to my clients. I have had a 4.3 star rating out of 5 for them.

No, dental insurance and medical insurance are completely separate. And unfortunately even though you enjoy $1200 in benefits yearly, they one and only pay a percentage of procedures. So, you are going to be looking at a huge bill regardless. I wish they would not even call upon it dental "insurance" because it is so limited. Maybe they should just beckon it dental allowance. Sorry you have so much work to do, I feel for you.
if you're concerned in the region of the cost you may want to check out www.mybenefitsplus.com/40620945
