Dental emergency, and no insurance?
I am 23 and I don't have health insurance. I be having an unbearable tooth affliction and I don't know what to do. I am also unemployed. is there anything I could do
Answers:
I do not know where on earth your from so hard to tell you where on earth to go.
Check for Gov. and county assisted hospitals for low income families within your area.
Go to your nearest public hospital emergency room. Any hospital that receive federal funds is prohibited by law from denying care because one cannot repay.
They will make every effort to capture you to pay, but they must treat you. And yes, it is a legitimate emergency - an infection contained by a tooth can spread via the bloodstream to the rest of the body and cause grave harm.
FORGET "PEANUT BUTTER"= BAD ADVISE
3-4 ADVIL EVERY 4-6 HRS AND A VISIT TO E.R. FOR AN ANTIBIOTIC PRESCRIPTION IS WISE
PS, ORAJEL=BAD ADVISE AND A WASTE OF $ AND TIME
LOOK FOR HELP FROM FAMILY/FRIENDS TO HELP W/DENTAL COSTS.
possess as much information as you could maybe is one of the option, however it is quite time consuming, here

Yes. Call your county hospital and ask if they can help out.
Or, call your state Department of Economic Security (the people who provide state funded condition care) to see if you can sign up for benefits.
Or, call a community referral agency for your area.
Or, basically call a dentist's office from the phone book and ask them what you should do....where on earth to go, etc.
Try some Orajel.
Try some Sensodyne toothpaste.
peanut butter helps too. you could try to contact your city or county vigour office and see if they have a program.
orajel
You shouold go catch it checked out, because the pain medication will cost you more than the actual treatment willl if you leave it. Go see your dentist!
