Pay Cash or Dental Insurance?

I had my 3 wisdom teeth pulled for free while I be in the military. My last one have started to protrude for the last 3 months or so. Would it be cheaper to get dental insurance for the minimum required contract to procure my tooth pulled or to pay cash?
Answers:
rate cash
With dental insurance you have a waiting period of up to 24 months up to that time you get full benefits; then they'll solely pay a percentage. It is usually cheaper to pay change. You can also try a dental school where you can return with good service for a reasonable cost. Insurance companies are on to that tactic and may not cover primary dental work for the first year.

You will have a deductible that you will have to remuneration before the insurance kicks contained by.

Dental insurance is a ripoff unless you get it through an employer. Pay cash and be done next to it. Source(s): I am an insurance agent.
