~~We have State Farm. Our policy does not cover personal belongings that be in the car, but homeowners or renters insurance will. It may diverge on all policies, so check with your agent, and if within is no coverage ask your homeowners or renters insurance, one or the other should cover it.~~
All insurance companies are different, so the best article to do would be to give them a phone and ask.
No, but your homeowner or renter's insurance may, subject to deductible. Source(s): www.HutchingsInsurance.com
The only way to really find this out is to examine your policy document.
If your motor insurance doesn't cover this, your home contents insurance (if you own any) might.
I don't want to seem condescending in any method, but seriously, do not leave anything whatsoever on display in a parked motor. Criminals look out for such things.
Hope this helps, and good luck.
yes and no.
requirement to check your policy. but most will cover streo and personal contents to between lb100 and lb250.
but may not pay out if the bag be on display , like on the seat.
In the States, Full Comprehensive Coverage only covers things ON the motor....such as windows, interior, exterior, and car bits and pieces like CD players and the close to. As far as your bag goes and its contents, freshly file a report with the Bobbies and hope for the best but likelihood are slim to none that you'll ever get them back. Unless you enjoy the best insurance in the world for your car, it is unlikely that your insurance company will cover those items. I'm sorry more or less your unfortunate circumstances.
Technically no, because the bag be in view.
No, and it doesn't issue which company.
Items stolen from a car that aren't part of the saloon come under the off-premises theft coverage on a home or tenant policy.
