Home contents insurance and laptop computer?
HI. I am in a muddle. I dropped my lap top ending weekend and although there is no visable damage to the stub or screen, the laptop boots up to the bios, loads the xp black screen and the mouse curser appears. Then it reboots. i enjoy tried a new hard drive and it does like peas in a pod again. if i move the laptop slightly when booting the whole thing freezes. Basically i estimate the motherboard is broken. Memory was tested in my mate laptop and is fine. Can i claim this on my home contents insurance for a new laptop?
